Saratoga won the last time they faced Fremont and things went their way on Thursday too. The Falcons put the hurt on the Firebirds with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Falcons.

Saratoga never let Fremont on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20, 26-24.

Despite the loss, Fremont still got an impressive performance from Zoe Shie, who had 18 digs and two aces. Shie is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 11 every time she's taken the court this season.

Saratoga's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Fremont, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season.

Saratoga didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Los Altos on the 19th. As for Fremont, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against MacDonald on the 23rd.
