Zavier Perry posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Monday. He struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). He was dominant the last time he took on Fairborn back in May of 2025, so they probably should've seen this coming. Perry has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.
