Basketball Recap: Hellgate Knights vs. Russell Rustlers
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hellgate). They took down the Russell Rustlers 63-45 on Friday. With that victory, the Knights brought their scoring average up to 52 points per game.
Hellgate had a senior duo take command as Easton Sant posted 15 points along with seven assists and five boards and Chance McNulty had 16 points. Sant is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Zane Gillhouse was another key player, putting up six points.
Hellgate smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive games.
