Lynbrook lost to Wheatley back in April of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Owls narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wildcats 9-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Owls.

The team relied heavily on Bianca Lobosco, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Leah Moser, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Lynbrook's victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Lynbrook has already played their next match, a 13-0 loss against Long Beach on the 4th. Hopefully Wheatley payed attention to the Owls' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Owls at 5:00 p.m. on May 2.
