Football Game Recap: Nashua North vs. Keene

Nashua North took their contest against Keene on Friday by a conclusive 47-18 score. Followers of Nashua North probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

The matchup started off well for Nashua North, whose offense put up 47 first-half points. Keene countered with 12 points, leaving the score at 47-12 going into the half. Nashua North were outscored in the second half, but Keene's efforts were ultimately no more than a drop in the ocean. The victory was the 6th in a row for Nashua North, as they raised their record to 6-1. Keene are on a six-game losing streak that has brought their record down to 1-6.

Next week Nashua North take on Merrimack at 7:00 PM. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown. As for Keene, they will face off against Bedford.
