Volleyball Recap: Jasper's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Seven

Jasper extended their winning streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Tuesday, bumping them up to 6-0. They put the hurt on the Seneca Indians with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Indians, too.

Alivea Roberts paced Jasper's offense, picking up 13 kills. Roberts got some help from Lexi Rice and her 12 assists. Rice also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Haidyn Omart, racking up three apiece.

As for Seneca, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat they have suffered since October 22, 2024.

Despite the loss, Seneca had strong showings from Emma Darnell, who had ten digs and three aces, and Olivia Haase, who had nine digs. Darnell is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 12 every time she's taken the court this season. Jaime Eitemiller also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Jasper didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Lockwood on the 11th. As for Seneca, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Diamond on the 11th.
