Baseball Recap: Dothan Takes a Loss

Dothan's tournament run continued when they took on Pinson Valley on Tuesday. Dothan fell just short of Pinson Valley by a score of 6-5. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dothan saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will Varner, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. Those two hits gave Varner a new career-high. Graham Davis was another, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Dothan's loss dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Pinson Valley, their win bumped their record up to 8-16.

Coming up, Dothan will challenge Carver Montgomery at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinson Valley, they will take on Carbon Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
