Basketball Game Preview: Rosedale Christian Academy Rosedale Panthers vs. Concordia Prep Saints

Rosedale Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Concordia Prep recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Rosedale Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Saints at 2:30 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Rosedale Christian Academy is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Mount St. Joseph on Tuesday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Rosedale Panthers came up short against the Gaels, falling 79-54. The Rosedale Panthers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-22.

Despite the defeat, Rosedale Christian Academy got top-tier performance from Jai'saun Williams, who went 11-for-21 en route to 30 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Kumari Green, who posted six points.

Meanwhile, Concordia Prep had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a blow against Springdale Prep on Wednesday, falling 78-34. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Saints have suffered since January 27th.

Rosedale Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Concordia Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Rosedale Christian Academy couldn't quite get it done against Concordia Prep when the teams last played back in November of 2024 as they fell 63-51. Can the Rosedale Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
