Baseball Recap: Johnstown-Monroe's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Johnstown-Monroe lost against Heath back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Johnnies fell 8-5 to the Bulldogs. The loss put an end to the Johnnies' undefeated start to the season.

Braeden Archibald was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-5.

Having lost for the first time this season, Johnstown-Monroe fell to 2-1. As for Heath, the win (which was their 16th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Johnstown-Monroe will challenge rival Licking Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Heath is set to square off against their familiar foe Licking Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
