Flag Football Game Preview: Pace Academy Knights vs. West Forsyth Wolverines

The Pace Academy Knights will challenge the West Forsyth Wolverines at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (Pace Academy 6.5, West Forsyth 7.4) so any points scored will be well earned.

Pace Academy barely beat Hillgrove the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Knights' defense stepped up to hand the Hawks a 24-0 shutout on Monday. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, West Forsyth was just a hair shy of victory on Thursday and fell 7-6 to North Forsyth.

Pace Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 2.4 points on average over those games. As for West Forsyth, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.
