Basketball Recap: Dillon Christian Skates Past King's Academy with Ease

Dillon Christian had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 38-point drubbing they dealt King's Academy on Thursday. The Dillon Christian Warriors breezed by the King's Academy Lions to the tune of 76-38. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warriors also won the last time the pair played back in February.

Dillon Christian had a senior duo take command as Thompson Stone went 11 for 22 on his way to 25 points in addition to seven steals and five assists and Jackson Outlar went 9 for 17 on his way to 25 points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Stone's evening made it nine games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Blackman, who posted eight points.

The victory got Dillon Christian back to even at 4-4. As for King's Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Dillon Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Conway Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for King's Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Thomas Sumter Academy at 7:15 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
