 It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Hamilton Huskies can now relate to. They fell to the Thunder  57-53. Hamilton's defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.
 Hamilton's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Taylor Sipfle, who  scored 19 points along with eight  rebounds and four  blocks, and  Callie Hinder who  dropped  a double-double on 16 points and 11  rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  Sipfle has scored all season.
  Eanae Dagons continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Desert Vista,  scoring 15 points along with six  assists and five  steals. Dagons hasn't dropped below two  steals for ten straight games.  Shay Ijiwoye was another key contributor,  scoring eight points along with five  rebounds and three  steals.
 Hamilton's loss  ended  a  ten-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 23-6. As for Desert Vista, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 16 of their last 17 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record  this season.
 Hamilton does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Desert Vista, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Xavier College Prep at 5:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Xavier College Prep is coming into the  matchup with 14 straight  wins at home,  so Desert Vista will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
