Gallatin County extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 27 on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 0-23 in the process. They came up short against the Carroll County Panthers, falling 12-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

As for Carroll County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season. That's two games straight that they have won by exactly ten runs.

For Carroll County's part, they got a big performance out of Colton Deitz, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave Deitz a new career-high. Mason Ogden also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Gallatin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carroll County, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 12-4 loss against Owen County on the 19th.
