Volleyball Recap: O'Farrell Charter Takes a Loss

O'Farrell Charter lost against Victory Christian Academy on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Falcons fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1.

Victory Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Esteban Torres out in front who had 30 assists. Torres has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more assists the last 20 times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brad Chier, who had ten kills and eight digs.

O'Farrell Charter has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season. As for Victory Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

O'Farrell Charter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against St. Joseph Academy on the 19th. As for Victory Christian Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Hilltop on the 19th.
