Eastlake dropped their record down to 25-9 on Saturday, which also ended the team's ten-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Lake Washington Kangaroos, falling 15-5. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Wolves, who until this matchup were averaging 2.44 runs allowed.

Travis Beam was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

As for Lake Washington, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-11. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

On Lake Washington's side, Will Cooley was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Cooley has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Logan Schuster was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Boden Reeve was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, one triple, and one double.

While Eastlake had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
