Basketball Recap: North Takes a Loss

North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 82-33 loss at the hands of Carmen Northwest. While losing is never fun, the Blue Devils can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 420th, while Carmen Northwest are ranked 91st).

Despite the loss, North still got an impressive performance from Shevez Johnson, who posted nine points and six rebounds.

North's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Carmen Northwest, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-5.

North will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Muskego at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th. As for Carmen Northwest, they will host Milwaukee Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Carmen Northwest's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
