Basketball Recap: Segerstrom Takes a Loss

Segerstrom suffered their biggest defeat since December 23, 2024 on Wednesday. They came up short against the Garden Grove Argonauts, falling 52-32. The Jaguars have struggled against the Argonauts recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Garden Grove's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Neiman Quach, who posted 18 points and eight boards. Quach continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Drue Anzai was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Segerstrom's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Garden Grove, their win bumped their record up to 14-12.

Segerstrom has already played their next match (against Katella), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Garden Grove will welcome Ocean View at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Ocean View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season.
