Basketball Recap: Clarkston Comes Up Short

If Clarkston was riding high fresh off their 76-24 takedown of North Central last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Clarkston Bantams lost 69-49 to the Deer Park Stags on Friday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bantams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-45 back in January.

The defeat was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 16-4. As for Deer Park, their win was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 18-0.

Coming up, Clarkston will challenge West Valley at 5:30 p.m. on February 14th. As for Deer Park, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 68-19 victory against North Central on the 8th.
