Baseball Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-0 to the Sanford-Fritch Eagles. The shutout was out of character for the Hornets seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in February.

Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Sanford-Fritch, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.

Highland Park will face off against Sunray at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sanford-Fritch, they are taking a road trip to take on Booker at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Kiowas have now posted at least ten runs in their last seven games.
