Volleyball Recap: West Prairie Comes Up Short

West Prairie lost against Elmwood back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Cyclones fell just short of the Trojans by a score of 2-1. The Cyclones have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While West Prairie ultimately came up short, they really made Elmwood work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-20, 26-24.

West Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Elmwood, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

West Prairie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Camp Point Central on the 25th. As for Elmwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Cuba/Spoon River Valley on the 25th.
