Meanwhile, East Wake Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 63-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of NCSSM: Durham. The Eagles were down 49-23 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Raleigh Charter's win ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-11. As for East Wake Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-13.
