Stevens is 9-1 against Douglas since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Raiders will take on the Patriots at 7:00 p.m.

Stevens is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Mitchell just ended the team's eight-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Kernels by a score of 3-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Stevens came incredibly close to winning: the sets they lost were decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 27-25, 28-26, 18-25, 20-25, 16-14.

Meanwhile, Douglas came into Thursday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Belle Fourche on Thursday.

While Douglas might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Belle Fourche scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-19.

Douglas picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-16. As for Stevens, their loss dropped their record down to 21-4.

Stevens was able to grind out a solid victory over Douglas in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
