Softball Recap: Barnum Wins Going Away Against Chisholm

Barnum barely beat Chisholm the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bombers were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Bluestreaks on Wednesday. The Bombers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by eight runs or more this season.

Barnum has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Chisholm, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Barnum has already played their next game (against Mountain Iron-Buhl), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Chisholm, they will venture away from home to take on Greenway/Nashwauk-Keewatin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
