Basketball Recap: Dime Box Takes a Loss

Dime Box lost against Richards back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Dime Box Longhorns lost 79-58 to the Richards Panthers.

Richards found their leader in sophomore HEATH GRAVES, who went 13-for-14 to rack up 31 points. What's more, GRAVES posted four boards, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of OWEN PIERSALL, who went 6-for-9 on his way to 12 points along with seven rebounds and six steals.

Dime Box now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Richards, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 23-8.

Dime Box has already played their next matchup, a 54-48 victory against Nordheim on the 18th. As for Richards, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-39 win against Moulton on the 18th.
