Basketball Game Preview: Indian Land Warriors vs. Easley Green Wave

Two dominant guards in Michael Jones and Ethan Crews are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Indian Land Warriors will be playing at home against the Easley Green Wave at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Easley heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Indian Land took over last week. Indian Land enjoyed a cozy 54-39 win over Northwestern on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won six in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indian Land to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jones, who posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Sequel Patterson, who scored 13 points.

Meanwhile, Easley earned a 57-47 win over Northwestern on Tuesday.

Easley's win came from a few key players Indian Land will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Rj Stack, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards. He also posted seven blocks, which is notable because Easley is 4-2 when he posts at least five blocks, but 9-12 otherwise. Drey Jackson was another key player, putting up 17 points and three steals.

Easley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Easley's victory bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Indian Land, their win bumped their record up to 23-3.
