Football Recap: Montevallo Takes a Loss

Montevallo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Demopolis Tigers, falling 38-6. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-0.

Montevallo's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Demopolis, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Montevallo will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on John Carroll Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Demopolis, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Selma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Saints' rather soft defense (which has allowed 38.5 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
