Basketball Recap: Boles Skates Past De Kalb with Ease

Boles's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the De Kalb Bears 70-41. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 21 points or more this season.

Boles was led to victory by Braylon Jordan and Gavin Williams. Jordan dropped a double-double with 28 points and ten rebounds, while Williams dropped a double-double with 23 points and 11 boards. Thanks to that strong game, Jordan now owns an excellent 46.8% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Granado, who posted six points.

Boles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Boles now has a winning record of 8-7. As for De Kalb, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Boles wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 90-62 win against Rivercrest on the 16th. As for De Kalb, they will venture away from home to face off against New Boston at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
