Recap: Roosevelt Roughriders vs. Lakeside Lions
The Roosevelt Roughriders can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Lakeside with a sharp 65-44 victory. The win was familiar territory for Roosevelt who now have three in a row.
It was another big night for Jalen Dollar, who scored 19 points. He hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Washington, who scored 13 points.
Roosevelt is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. As for Lakeside, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Roosevelt will head out on the road to face off against Ingraham at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. Ingraham will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 209th, while Roosevelt is ranked 35th). As for Lakeside, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chief Sealth at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Chief Sealth is hoping to put an end to a six-game streak of away losses.
