Maranatha Christian barely beat Orange Glen the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Maranatha Christian never let Orange Glen on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-17, 25-22.

Carter 'CJ' Hays paced Maranatha Christian's offense, picking up 16 kills. Hays got some help from Jackson Ostrowski and his 31 assists.

Maranatha Christian's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-4. As for Orange Glen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-14 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Maranatha Christian will challenge Coastal Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Orange Glen, they will take on Montgomery at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
