It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Skyline can now relate to. They came up short against the Ider Hornets on Thursday, falling 12-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 14-33. As for Ider, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-15-2 record this season.

Skyline didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-1 win against Appalachian on the 8th. As for Ider, they will challenge Waterloo at 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Hornets surely won't give up without a fight.
