Pinnacle Classical Academy had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. Everything went their way against the Christian Family Academy Fire as they made off with a 20-5 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 11-5 win back in April.

Evie Hawkins was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

In other batting news, Maggie Gomez-Huffman was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games she's played. Addison Jonas also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Pinnacle Classical Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .848. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Pinnacle Classical Academy pushed their record up to 10-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Christian Family Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
