Basketball Recap: Valley Stream Central Comes Up Short

Valley Stream Central was the 73-65 winner over Jericho when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Valley Stream Central Eagles took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jericho Jayhawks on Thursday. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Valley Stream Central's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Jericho, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Valley Stream Central has already played their next game, a 72-58 win against MacArthur on the 3rd. As for Jericho, they will welcome Seaford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
