            Baseball Recap: Millard Eagles vs. South Sevier Rams        
        
		
        
        
            Millard had lost four straight at home, but  on Friday they dropped their record down to 3-19 to make it five. They lost  18-0 to the South Sevier Rams. Considering the last time the Eagles couldn't score was  back in March, the team can't take the result too hard.
As for South Sevier, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 11.6 runs over those games.
For South Sevier's part,  Bigs Northrup made a splash no matter where he played. He  tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Northrup has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 In other batting news, South Sevier got a  massive  performance out of  Houston Blake, who  went 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Those  three  stolen bases gave  Blake a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Kameron Hessey, who  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  RBI and two  runs.
 Looking ahead, Millard will be playing at home against Water Canyon  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Eagles are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on  a  15-game losing streak. South Sevier does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
