Recap: Northview Chiefs vs. Pensacola Christian Academy Warriors
The Northview Chiefs suffered their closest defeat yet this season on Friday. They fell just short of Pensacola Christian Academy by a score of 47-44. Northview has not had much luck with Pensacola Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Northview lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Luke Diamond, who scored 18 points. Diamond continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was JACOB SPENCE, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 18 rebounds.
Northview bumped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Pensacola Christian Academy, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-8.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northview will take on Laurel Hill at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pensacola Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against West Florida Baptist Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
