Volleyball Recap: Dinwiddie Takes a Loss

Dinwiddie was the 3-0 winner over Colonial Heights when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Generals fell 3-1 to the Colonials on Thursday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Dinwiddie started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-17, 25-9, 25-17.

Dinwiddie's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Colonial Heights, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-9.

Dinwiddie does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Colonial Heights, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against L.C. Bird at 5:45 p.m.
