It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Penn had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Coatesville Red Raiders, sneaking past 4-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won three contests in a row.

Trevor Lugara spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on three hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Mason Coyne was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Ben Grattan, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.
