Softball Recap: Watertown Takes a Loss

Watertown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-2 to the Sandy Creek Comets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Comets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-0 on Monday.

Watertown's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Sandy Creek, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.

Coincidentally, Watertown and Sandy Creek will both be playing Carthage the next time they take the field. The Comets will host the Comets at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Cyclones will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
