Softball Recap: Kodee Jensen Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Princeton

Rosewood barely beat Princeton the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Rosewood Eagles' pitcher stepped up to hand the Princeton Bulldogs a 14-0 shutout on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

McCandless St John made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Rosewood got a massive performance out of Kodee Jensen, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3. Addyson McKeel was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Rosewood was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.
