Basketball Recap: Macon County Bulldogs vs. Central Hawks
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Macon County). They took their game on Saturday with ease, bagging a 75-12 victory over the Central Hawks. With that win, the Bulldogs brought their scoring average up to 52.8 points per game.
Macon County was led to victory by Morgan Cochran and Aniah Lake. Cochran went 10 for 18 on her way to 20 points in addition to eight boards and six assists, while Lake went 8 of 15 on her way to 21 points and three steals. Lake is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Aliyah Lake, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 14 points.
