Basketball Recap: Ridgedale Takes a Loss

After flying high against North Baltimore last Friday, Ridgedale came back down to earth. The Ridgedale Rockets lost 56-35 to the Pleasant Spartans on Monday. The Rockets were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in February of 2022.

Lathan Mccants had an outrageously good game for Pleasant as he went 6-for-13 en route to 19 points and six assists. Another player making a difference was Alec Columber, who posted 11 points.

Ridgedale's defeat dropped their record down to 13-4. As for Pleasant, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-10.

Ridgedale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 54-30 loss against Temple Christian on the 4th. As for Pleasant, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-29 defeat against Marion Harding on the 7th.
