Volleyball Recap: Spring Valley Extends Winning Streak to Four

Spring Valley entered their tilt with Chetek-Weyerhaeuser on Thursday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on September 9th.

Spring Valley was especially dominant in the fourth set. The final score came out to 25-18, 21-25, 25-20, 25-13.

Ella Stangl paced Spring Valley's offense, picking up 14 kills. Stangl got some help from Addison Nelson and her 42 assists. Riley Zimmerman and Kemri Schlegel kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Spring Valley's win bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Chetek-Weyerhaeuser, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.
