The Okeechobee Brahmans are taking a road trip to challenge the Lake Placid Dragons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Okeechobee has three straight wins, Lake Placid has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

If Okeechobee beats Lake Placid with four goals on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Brahmans blew past Legacy 4-1 on Thursday. Okeechobee better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Rodolfo Gomez, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Lake Placid's offense. They came up short against Lake Wales on Monday, falling 8-0.

Okeechobee's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Lake Placid, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5-1.

Okeechobee took their win against Lake Placid in their previous matchup back in November by a conclusive 9-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Brahmans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
