Basketball Recap: Destin Sharks vs. Taylor County Bulldogs
Destin picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They greeted the New Year with with a 52-36 victory over the Taylor County Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Sharks.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Destin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trace Williams, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 17 points and three steals. Those 17 points gave Williams a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Memphis DeLong, who posted seven points in addition to six rebounds and six steals.
Destin's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Taylor County, they now have a losing record at 5-6.
Destin will head out to square off against Pace at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Taylor County, they will host Hamilton County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
