 Bethel is 9-1 against Denbigh since May of 2017, and they'll have a chance to extend that success  on Thursday. The Bethel Bruins will be playing at home against the Denbigh Patriots at 4:30  p.m. The timing is sure in Bethel's favor as the  squad sits on seven straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Denbigh has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
 Bethel can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent  game  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Denbigh as Bethel made off with  a  14-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Bethel needed considering they were shutout in their previous   match.

He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  5.2 innings while giving up just one earned  (and one unearned) run off   four  hits. Burns was also big at the plate,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.
 In other batting news, Bethel got a  massive  performance out of  Josh Flicek, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.  Austin DeBusk was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs while going 4-for-5.
 Bethel's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Denbigh, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-10.
