Basketball Recap: Beaver Local Takes a Loss

Beaver Local has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 63-57 heartbreaker at the hands of the East Liverpool Potters. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (55), the Beavers still had to take the loss.

Beaver Local's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for East Liverpool, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Coming up, Beaver Local will be taking part in a tournament against Carrollton at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. East Liverpool does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
