Volleyball Recap: Quartz Hill Comes Up Short

Quartz Hill's tournament run continued when they took on St. John Bosco on Friday. The Royals fell 2-0 to the Braves. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: St. John Bosco scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-18.

Quartz Hill's loss dropped their record down to 17-10-1. As for St. John Bosco, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 21-9.

Coming up, Quartz Hill will square off against Antelope Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for St. John Bosco, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Buchanan on the 18th.
