Stevens has been on a difficult stretch since their win on January 6. They came up short against the Warren Warriors on Friday, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Stevens can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 571st, while Warren are ranked 74th).

Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 3-12-3. As for Warren, they pushed their record up to 14-1-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Stevens will face off against rival Sotomayor at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Warren is set to square off against their familiar foe Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
