Basketball Recap: Harrison Drops Highest Score of Season Against South Dearborn

Harrison scored the most points they've had this season on Saturday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 71-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Dearborn Knights. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (57), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Harrison lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brody Mumfrey, who went 7 for 9 on his way to 16 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Ward, who went 8 of 18 on his way to 19 points in addition to five assists and four steals.

Even though they lost, Harrison was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Harrison's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for South Dearborn, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.

Harrison wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 57-49 loss against West Clermont on the 21st. As for South Dearborn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 47-39 defeat against Connersville on the 20th.
