Basketball Recap: Grand Lake Takes a Loss

Grand Lake suffered their biggest loss since November 18, 2024 on Monday. They came up short against the Starks Panthers, falling 91-69. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-51 back in December of 2024.

Grand Lake has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-11 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.8 points per game. As for Starks, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-6.

Grand Lake has already played their next contest (against Basile), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Starks has also has no score uploaded for their next game, this one against South Cameron.
