Soccer Recap: Harlandale Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

Harlandale's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the MacArthur Brahmas. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Indians' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 463rd, while the Brahmas are ranked 143rd).

Harlandale pushed their record up to 6-5-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 21 goals over those four games. As for MacArthur, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-2-1.

Coincidentally, Harlandale and MacArthur will both be playing Winn the next time they take the pitch. MacArthur will host Winn at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Harlandale will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 18th.
